How to order online
Making a purchase online could not be easier. Just search or browse our Catalogue and select the items that you wish to purchase by simply clicking on the "Add to Shopping Cart" link. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for additional information that we need to fulfill your request.

This is how our online ordering works:

Shopping Cart
If you are a returning customer you may login by clicking on 'My Account' tab at the top of any page. This will automatically populate your shipping and billing information (other than credit card information) when you are ready to check out. If you are a new customer we encourage you to register by clicking on 'Not a Member Yet? Register Here' on the 'My Account' Page. Becoming a Member makes you eligible for our special discounts, promotional features and information letters on tea and our new products.

Once you have selected a product and added it to the Petit Tea Shopping cart by clicking on ‘Add to Shopping Cart’ button, our system temporarily stores this information on our data base. This information is deleted from our system if you close your browser or if there is a break in your internet connection. This is good because no one (not even us) will have your shopping information unless you complete the ordering process by clicking on the ‘Checkout’ button. If you want to resume your shopping after any such break you will have to start all over again.

Once you add an item to the shopping cart our system will take you to the ‘Shopping Cart’ page that will show you a list of all items that you have added to the shopping cart in your current session. Here you may remove any or all items from your shopping cart, change quantity of the items in your shopping cart. If you change quantity on the page you may re-calculate the amount by clicking on the 'Recalculate' tab. This page lists the selected Items, quantity, price and total amount . From this page you may navigate to any part of the web site and add more items to the shopping cart.

Check Out
We strongly recommend that once you have finished shopping you review and verify the contents of the shopping cart by clicking on the ‘Shopping Cart' tab from any part of our web site. Having done this, you click on the ‘Checkout’ button. At this point, depending on the settings of your browser a notice may inform you that you are entering a secure area. Click ‘Yes’ button on this notice. This will take you to a two page (Shipping Information and Billing Information pages) secure area on our site where you will need to fill in your mailing and credit card information.

Your Account - Shipping Information Page:
Registered Returning Customers:
This page will populate itself if you login as a returning customer. If you choose not to register or wish to use different shipping and billing information please type in all the required information on this page. Next select your shipping preference and click 'Ok'. This will take you to the ‘Billing' page for filling out your billing information (if different from your 'shipping information') and credit card details (for security reasons we do not retain this information from your previous sessions).

New customers: may please fill out all the information such as your name, address, mailing address (if different from your address) and click the ‘Ok’ button at the bottom of this page and you will be taken to the ‘Billing' page.

Your Account - Billing Information Page:
On this page please fill in your billing and mailing address (if different from your shipping information). Next, please enter your credit card name (Visa, Master), credit card number and Valid Thru/expiration date and finish your ordering process by clicking once on the ‘Check Out’ button. This will display your Invoice with your Order ID and all information about the ordered items, quantity, price, taxes and discounts (if any) and shipping charges along with your shipping information. You may want to print this page for your record. Our system will automatically e-mail this information to you once your credit card has been accepted. Next Please click on 'Checkout' button.

At this point please DO NOT close your browser. Wait for about 20 to 25 seconds to allow our merchant services to process your order. A message confirming your order and order number will appear on your screen.  If your credit card is declined for any reason a 'Transaction Failure' message will be displayed on your screen.

Multiple Orders
If you wish to place more than one order online (say one for your self and another for a family member, friend or a business associate) then please complete one order first and then open a fresh browser window to place each subsequent order. Each such order will be treated as a separate order by our system.
