Loose Leaf Tea in round tins

1.5 oz to 3.5 oz (depending on the tea volume) of finest quality loose leaf teas, herbal tisane or fruit blends  packed loose in round silvery tins with flavor protective lid.

As any tea lover will tell you, loose leaf teas give you the best tea drinking experience. Good quality tea leaves are usually whole leaf teas that are picked at the prime of their bloom and processed delicately to keep their flavor, character and taste as close to the fresh leaf as possible. Loose leaf teas need to be brewed at the right water temperature and be given sufficient room to allow the leaves to uncurl and impart their delicate flavor to the water they steep in. Brewing loose leaf teas is therefore an art that you will master over time. Learning this art need not be a painful experience for the mew comer. Our reusable tea sticks and tea filters have been designed to make your loose leaf tea brewing experience a pleasant one.

How to brew loose leaf teas
Our loose leaf teas, herbal tisane and fruit blends are best brewed using our stainless steel reusable tea stick or paper Tea filters.  You may also use any other tea infuser or tea filter.

Typically, the best temperature for brewing tea can be determined by its type. Teas that have little or no oxidation period, such as a green or white tea, are best brewed at lower temperatures around 80 °C, while teas with longer oxidation periods should be brewed at higher temperatures around 100 °C. Cold filtered water without chlorine or sulphur is just fine.

Black, Flavored Black, Oolong Teas & Herbals:
Pre-heat your pot for about a minute with boiling water then discard this water. Scoop a teaspoon of tea per cup and place it in the heated pot. Bring water to a rolling boil for a few seconds and pour it over the tea. Brew for 3-4 minutes. Strain and serve.

Green, Greener Oolongs & White Teas:
Same as black teas except allow the boiling water to cool for a few minutes (about 180 F) and then pour it over tea leaves. Brew for 4-5 minutes. Strain and serve.
