Medium bodied, orange coloured liquor with a slightly pungent citrus/spicy flavour with a sweet floral nose. 

 

Pre-heat your pot for about a minute with boiling water then discard this water. Scoop a teaspoon of tea per cup and place it in the heated pot. Bring water to a rolling boil for a few seconds and pour it over the tea. Brew for 3-4 minutes. If you prefer you may add a little milk or lemon juice and sweeten the tea with sugar or honey. Strain and serve. 

Nilgiri (Pekoe) pairs well with crunchy, leafy salads or sauteed vegetables and fresh fruit.
